Hi there,

Just a few quick photos from my weekend in Satara.
The highlight was definitely the side-striped jackals I saw this morning.....

Could someone please help me with a Id for the last one ? I think it's a Amur Falcon ?

Thanks
jb

Thanks for all the comments guys. Much appreciated !
That leopard was a very special sighting. We were driving along the S125 and stopped to look in the riverbed. Next thing I saw a hyena lying under a tree and went for closer inspection. The leopard was lying on a branch that was hanging over the road - closest I've ever been to a leopard in a tree. Best of all - there was nobody else around.....
I thought the Black Storks was also quite cool. I have seen one before, but this was definitely the best sighting I've had.

Cheers
jb

Thanks again for the comments !
Spent last weekend in the park too. (Shimuwini, Bateleur & Letaba)
Had some more amazing sightings, incl Side-striped jackal again !
Has anyone ever done a mammal count ? It's a lot of fun - expecially when you go for shorter periods like a weekend. I hit my record this weekend: 32 mammals spotted. (And best of all we never found Lion !)
