Hi, GREAT in KNP. 2 rhino's & other game. 71 species birds so far. Great sightings of barn owl & black crowned night heron. Eating in Skukuza now. JB

Do you think they took Jacov, the rhino magnet, with them?

Got this update from JB, very sad:

JB&BN wrote: Lightning last nigt caused veld fires, from P/kop to far past Shitlhave dam. Large areas on both sides of the road burnt. Large flames due to strong winds. Had a couple of scary moments to go past the flames, both off us nervous. Found 3 rhino that had been sort of trapped, making terrible sounds. Wanted to get out and help. Scrubhare running and Eliphants.

Not a nice experience I am sure.

Sorry for only posting again now, we were out for the day.

JB & BN wrote: Hi, it is burning every where. At Mpondo, around Dukes etc. Found another group of 6 rhino, that makes a total of 23. A couple of nice raptor sightings with pray. Bird species count now at 132

So if you WANT to see rhino, take these girls along :D

Yes they are 'doing' the whole Park. Started at Pretoruiskop now at Croc Bridge and will end up at Punda Maria so they will be delivering the *man at Pafuri's binocs too.

*not taking a chance here with his name
