For those who have not been to Kruger lately, a photograhic report of our recent visit to Kruger over Christmas 2007 to keep you going. Not a long report, just 3 instalments of 10 photos each over the next few days.
Part 1:
After a dry first hour of sightings, though it was raining, our first good sighting on the Matjulu loop close to Berg-en-Dal.
Later in the day we enjoyed a leopard gorging on an impala in a tree on the H3 close to Kwaggaspan before it climbed down and disappeared.
We saw a lot of animals sparring, these two on the H10, close to Tshokwane.
One of many tortoises seen on this trip.
Leopard stretching after a long nap on a dead tree on the S28 nearer the Lower Sabie end.
A wonderful scene of two zebra jousting on the S28 nearer Crocodile Bridge.
A lioness had just killed and devoured a warthog on the H4-2 close to Crocodile Bridge.
Hitching a ride at the junction of S108 and S26.
Also hitching a ride on the H5.
These three seemed lost and nervous on the S114 without any adults in the vicinity.
