And the adventure begins......Angels on an Avian Mission!

Gwen is presently on her long journey to SA. Jay will be setting off on her journey from Cape Town to Kruger tomorrow. By Thursday evening all the A Team Angels will have gathered together in Kruger National Park. On Friday morning, at daybreak, we will set off on our walk to find a Pels!

This is where we will be reporting back to you all via our Backup Team!

gwendolen arrived safe and sound yesterday, albeit very tired. I did the delivery man bit in getting her from ORT airport to meandering mouse's abode where she stayed over last night - I hope she got a bit of recuperation done before the next leg (probably in travelling mode again right now... flying to Nelspruit, I think)

The first bird gwendolen sighted yesterday after landing was a house sparrow... gwendolen says they are threatened in the Netherlands!

Best of trips to you, ANGELS! May your trip be strewn with successes, AND have LOADS of FUN!

Don't forget to apply the sunscreen, lip balm and insect repellant regularly.

Landed safely and on our way to Hazyview.

Odd that she says Landed safely. The plane is supposed to do that!
Arriving currently: The photos from our trip! Overhere! :yaya:

Just had a call from DB, the park is brilliantly green and very hot and they are relaxing at Jay's place just outside Kruger Gate.

Seems the Mission is all set for success.

The wheels are rolling the mission is taking off..

The angels checked in via DB

The dukers must be rooting for the pel's on this one
however the angels have wings and no need of red bulls yet...

It's blistering hot and the angels are enjoying a cool one at Satara before moving on to Letaba - testing out all the parameters and laws of the park

Hold on to your seats for this unfolding saga and the first report of angel success.... the other success report will follow after the cricket

Just had a call from our 3 Angels. They've just left Tshokwane with all systems on track and they're having a great time, apart from their egos taking a huge knock:
Three very senior citizens made a pass at them.

Nevermind Angels you've still got us.

(Bert/DueQues, hope I'm not out of line here, if so hit the big D key)

Just had a call from DB. The Pels Angels are tucked up in bed in Letaba, with alarms set for 4.00am, to meet Frank at Olifants at 5.45am

They had a great bush braai in wonderful weather and are all set for the mission.

Good Luck Angels and looking forward to great pics and reports of exciting events.

Well it's 2 hrs 30 min into the mission. I hope the cam shutters are shuttering away capturing magnificent pics and lots of scientific data is being recorded.

Looking forward to the first report.
