A little bird flew into me twice yst and chirped about going to the nest early to kick a report and later was getting the report ready.
This morning I log on and get into trip reports expectantly and what do I see 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0000000000000000.
Oh well the server was slow yst and to day is a little better - maybe monday the next installement. Takes a long time to hop from one key to the next
@ W@H by the time this report is finished you may be old but I will be on crutches as well

DB, do you think I will see another instalment before leaving for SA??

Could get it in our Christmas stockings else shame , if we keep picking on DB we might be lucky and get hand-outs at the cricket match next year W@H has already retired

I think I know what happened here .. I think old age has finally gotten to DB ... Besides the foot .. she now has forgotten what she saw .. not even the photo's can remind her anymore.

It's a shame when one's mind goes ...

So I'm afraid .. this trip report will never see the day of light ever.

W@H lets see on Monday as I read last night that an EFFORT was being made if nothing, maybe you can talk to the mods and a yellow card needs to be displayed else KNP should ban her from the park next month

Ok, I have heard via the grapevine what REALLY happened to DB's ankle......

Apparently she has never been content to just fly like a little LBR.
So she has been making big plans to fly like a Human!

So, DB has decided to take up, HANG-GLIDING. Now she might have mentioned a drying rack and her swimming pool being involved in her injury. What she omitted however are some startling facts.

DB was on her house's roof, armed with the trusty drying rack and a double bed sheet. The sheet was drawn over the rack, so, hang-glider ala DB!

Her goal was to gently drop down into the pools deep end.

There she was ready to take off! A gentle breeze blowing in her face from the ocean! She was ready and prepared. Off she went! She was soaring! So free and....... Uhm, hold on. She was soaring much like your average rock.......

She was not going to make the deep end. Her pulse quickened.... she might make the shallow end. Nope..... she landed 2 foot short of the pool. She tried breaking her rapid decent (read FALL) with her right foot.

THUD. The impact caused her to make a (not so) graceful summersault into the pool.

Fortunately Master Musketeer Hawk was ready to fish her out of the pool.

The only damage was her ankle, and the neighbors’ carpets after the sudden flood........
