I didn't know this thread existed

I might have to do some work. I did get some photo's so I will try to sort through them.

Firstly, my highlight.. meeting fellow forum members.
What a great group of people.
I am also realising more and more how just being in Kruger has been my focus.

I had very few sightings this time around, but the pleasure of the smells and sounds of the bush was more than enough.

For the third time, my work has gone
it seems opening a new window carries penalties

"meandered through cyberspace  "

ok, what I was trying to say:

some of you might know that my computer crashed. With that I lost a lot of data, including many photos.

aside: I wonder if the taxman understands computer crash

I recently had this conversation with my clever computer daughter.
MM: Will photo bucket remember me, or must I start again?
CD: Huh :? :?
MM: I mean, what happens now? Must I start a new identity and password?
CD: Ma, what is your picture of the interet? I think you are missing something. Your photos and identity are still on photobucket.
MM: Well, I thought it was kind of a facilitating engine.. it brough folks together..
CD: Ma, there's an ether out there.. cyberspace is an ether ...
MM: Huh :?

MM:so you mean I have not been wiped out.
CD:

This was some time ago.

It was also MM meandering through the Park with a borrowed camera.

I have decided to go image by image rather than day by day.
Image
I have so often seen Marabou stork claiming their spot in the river after Skukuza.

What ugly, lovely ungainly birds.
There they were.

Farmers love these creatures, because, in their ugliness, they get rid of so many disease bearing goggas.

I just love them cos they remind me of kruger and the last time I visited.

Folks remember thisImage

so next was my breeding ellies.

I will be honest, I think I take ellies for granted.
Your posts have made me aware of their specialness.

I do not mean that in terms of honour, I always honour and bow to ellies.. I mean in terms of their power.

let me make my posting of the year.

This was between Satara and Roodewal.

A lovely tree not worthy of mention.

I held up a couple of mammal folks.

What a perfect silhouette

My first turn off was towards the Timbavati route,

there was this lovely group of animals.
Notice the baboons under the trees, the warthogs on a casual stroll.
It was just such a special moment.

The Steenbok is another story.
Freda can back me up here.
I have never seen so many Steenbok in my life.
