Hello again,
Another report to this very nice forum with lots of very nice people who are interested in nature and wildlife.
This report is about a (I think) less visited park , The Mount Zebra National Park.
We (Aat and Elly Vuik -Netherlands) visited this area for 4 days to see the special kind of Zebra (Cape Mountain Zebra) with the golden looks.
There are not so many left so I added a page on my website with pictures of animals in their natural environment.
Cape Mountain Zebra

The park is nice to visit but i guess for many tourists a long drive and not very much on the road to ..... other places, with other words you really have to go there.
The park good facilities , a shop and a restaurant. The cottages were big.... we had really plenty of space and a lovely view over the park area.

It was quiet , not many tourists but we think it is worth to go there.
I got a lot of mail in the mean time based on my other reports and I am happy to answer them.
So people from the netherlands (and others) who are planning a trip to and through South-Africa and like to know more or like to have tips , you are welcome...
We did a trip from J'burg - Panorama Route (3d) - Kruger National Park (3weeks) - Addo (3 days) - Drakensberg (3days) - Kwazulu Natal -St Lucia and Hluhluwe Hluhluwe (5 days)
In 2005 we visited Capetown area, Wine area and Garden Route and Karoo.
In 2002 we visited Namibia for a month.
Elly and I love South Africa and if possible we like to live there... may be someone offers me a job as wildlife-photograher (smileeee)

We are going to the meeting in Utrecht in november and hope to meet some of the visiters of this forum...

Enjoy the many pics on my website and yess we booked another trip to SA in february 2007.

Soon I will put a special with rhino on my website and a special with mother-child wildlife pictures.

bye for now
Aat and Elly
