Cheetahs…

That day I had an appointment, ... At Kamqua at about noon ("Swiss time" :hmz: :naughty: "Leopard time" ... you never know ... anything can happen in Kgalagadi  )

And precisely this day, it was not a Leopard ... but 4 Cheetahs... even five, he remained hidden and ruined the hunting of the Cheetah Mom :?

... the four Cheetahs are there, within range of camera ... almost
About 30 minutes later, they begin to move, obviously they want to return to the dunes on the other side of the road!
It is for me ... I'll see them up close. A car arrives, I make him a sign to slow down and we are two to admire these magnificent cats cross in front of us and climb, with difficulty for babies, the sandy and bushy slope, until they disappear ... What a day :D
what vision

So... 9 Cheetahs in a day  new record

Glad the tiny ones moved and mum too... from under the tree

No i also did not manage to get the male it was a case of now you see him now you don't. i got very similar shoots to you except you photo's of the cheetah on the move are much better than mine.

it was a confusing trip in away i saw these on the first part of the trip and there where 4 little ones this was around the 10th September. Then the day we saw your cheetahs saw only 3 cubs i was wondering if it was the same family? does the mother look the same?

photo's from 10th september

:hmz: now... something completly different

Starling's fighting :

Was very feroce… until death, but I went away just before the end
The wounded one retained the hunter with a leg... with some curious / arbiter who was looking at them... or counted the points :?
