Don't you just want to cuddle up with it  There is, for me, something completely irresistable in a kitten.

This is soooo special…that kitten is adorable. :D Bautiful photos, P@M

Have to say, now also looking at your photos, I realize how I almost took a AWC kitten home, thinking it was a normal cat  ….found it outside Croc Bridge…wrote a mini report on it that time….
Jumbo & an AWC named Croc

AR, there is a big difference between the AWC and the WC's we have here!

If you, as an Aussie, want to shoot WC's then there should be plenty in your area  - and save some of the native fauna from their depredations

Nope AR, it is a distinct breed, one of the recognised "small cats" and are definitely NOT feral. They are a specific part of the ecology of Africa but would not be recognised specifically as an apex hunter.

The ferals in Oz are from domestic cats that have gone wild - hence the feral appendage. The problem with the ferals as they are very much an apex hunter in the Australian bush, along with foxes. The only enemy they have apart from man is from raptors. they therefore decimate the local fauna, especially the smaller animals, which have no defence against them.
