Thanks onewithnature. The whole group of them (about 30 or so mix of males , females and young were browsing the area, but paying particular attention to the flowers and their stems. I have never seen the flower before in any area apart from on the left hand side of the s122 Muntshe Loop, just before it hits the H10 Lower Sabie to Tshokwane Road. Hope that helps pin it down a little.

Thanks Mike. I'll definitely keep an eye out for those flowers, seeing if they are indeed found anywhere else in the Park. And hope to see that magnificent kudu herd. :wink:

The space between the Kudu horns [ when looking from the front ], resemble an upside-down cathedral bell's profile - the deeper the curl of the horns and wider spread the horns are the more perfect this "bell" is shaped. :)

Kudus are definitely my favorite antelope. There is no way one could look into those eyes and not fall in love. :)
