Nice thread - now to start pulling out all the pics to check.

My most memorable "most in a photo" was a couple of years back near to olifants camp with a little leopard - we affectionately called princess - and her friend an elephant - the below pics tell all!!!!!

We were lucky to come across her a few times on that trip to Kruger and the reason we named her little princess.....madam took a liking to my yaris, and on the 1st occasion we came across her (just before she followed "her" ellie to the tree, she jumped onto the bonnet of my car with her 2 front paws)....no really!!!!!!!!

Image

please excuse the blurry bit on this one but i totally had the shakes from giggling at how she kept showing off for her ellie friend

I unfortunately don't have a pic, not too sure why except it would have been a very far off shot, but from Mlondozi picnic site a few years back we saw, Ellies, Buffalo, Lions down below and as we left the site there were Rhino walking towards the dam so if we had waited a little while longer it would have been 4 out of 5. :D

What an exiting stories and pictures.
Here is my pic. Not so exiting but still 3 out of 5 is not a bad score.
It was during the Metsi Metsi trail. We were on our way to a sundowner at Nkumbe when we saw this.

In august this year we saw An elephant chasing a herd of Buffalo...

And 4 White Rhino, with an ellie in the background

We also saw a leopard in a tree with Buffalo underneath but I only got a pic of the leopard, we did get a video with the buffs underneath... but that doesn't help, does it...

Does 2 leopards + 3 buffaloes = big 5

This was a mating pair and we were there for about 15 minutes before the buffs turned up and spoiled the fun

These three were seen on the H10 above the Mlondozi turnoff. The rhino is under the tree on the right with just his hindquarters sticking out.

Lion and leopard near Lower Sabie. The leopard is in front of the bottom bushes - just his head can be seen. Very small in the foto but i think the leopard was very pleased he was so far away.

JJ - it was a couple of years ago but i think we only saw the 1 rhino - i think the other hindqtrs on the left were 2 big buffalo bulls. The buff near the rhino was a youngster hence the size diff

Thanks Hitman; first time I've seen any two cat species together! At first, we never noticed the leopard at all! Then my daughter nonchalantly looked up in the tree after I suggested she check there to see what the lioness was constantly looking at from the top of her eyeballs: and there he was!

Great pictures guys. I don't have more than 1 of the big 5 in a picture but thought you would enjoy these. Its a leopard fighting off a hyena that was trying to get to its two cubs - the two cubs are in the second picture unfortunately. They were keeping their distance.
