Amazing sighting - cannot believe that the Buff did not hear the Lion coming. Very well done!

She was aware coz she got attacked half an hour earlier.We saw the males walking towards the herd and we could hear the buff and we saw the buffs running towards the attack like they are helping the buff like they normally do but we could not see so we waited and drove off 30min later there were only 3 cars and that buff sitting in the grass as soon as she dropped her head we saw the lions behind her.If you look closely at the video you might see that she is already bleeding at the back.But very hard to see on the video!

Left the gate at 06:05 and when we got there, there were around 20 cars

Amazing video big5spotter, Your explanation of it being attacked earlier explained why it didn't seem to put up more of a fight, perhaps it was in shock? There were obviously conflicting emotions in the car as well
