I want to go to KNP.....

Absolutely wonderful pictures of teh Grysbokkie. The 'normal' grysbok down this way East Cape, is fairly common, a night drive on any dusty secdondary road will produce about 6 or so :D

Also see loads of natual Mountain Reedbuck through teh Oliphant's Kop pass between PE and Cradock, as well as between Uitenhage and Patensie. They are so nimble on valley slopes has to be seen to beleive it.

Anyway, Im in awe over your pics. Great stuff..

Nicky G.

During our visit to KNP in July 2010, we were blessed with great Sable sightings!

This beautiful bull was waiting for us on the S36 near the S125 turnoff.

Whilst me and my brother were patrolling the gravel roads (S36 & S140) in the search for Sable, my parents got these guys at the Orpen Rocks – a herd of ±20!! Couldnt believe their luck!

In July 2010 we saw a total of 29 Eland!

We saw this herd on two consecutive days at Mooiplaas waterhole.

Wow! Very lucky indeed! I've only seen eland once in the last 10 years... Clearly I'll have to visit the North more!

Hey guys.

Was just travelling from bateleur to letaba a couple days ago and saw a herd of Tsessebe. And just a bit further down the road we saw our first ever Lichtenstein's Hartebeest. Was one of the most amazing sightings I've had !!!

I was in the park in the beginning of October and was extremely lucky with the "rare antelope" sightings... We had 15 sightings of tsessebe, 7 sharpe's grysbok, roan twice and on our way out we saw a sable bull. Needless to say I was over the moon! I'll post some pics as soon as I can.
