Dear Forumites,

Right on the 8th Birthday of the forums, it gives me an immense pleasure to announce the winner of the Forum Logo competition!

The winning design is Design 3 and the designer of the logo is Leopard Paws. Congratulations!



It has been a forum dream for many years to have our very own forum logo and this dream has finally come true!

Choosing the logo was a challenging task due to the amount and quality of the entries received and we would like to thank each and everyone who submitted a design; all who took the trouble to review and comment on the designs; and to all that voted for the final 5 designs!

Tremendous amount of work was done by the Dyna'mites team lead by Lion Queen in this process:

Is Rooies still alive and well?

Much credit must go to Dinkybird. She believed in the potential for a team of Mites to make a success out of something which was a failure in the past She put together the DynaMites, gave us some reading on previous logo project attempt, and gave us the freedom to decide how best to go about this fresh start. Dinks a Links gave us lots of freedom, yet she was there to provide much needed advice Dinks was a behind the scenes legend! As is almost always the case. We can't nominate you for Kudu horns or forum awards But I say thanks for facilitating the project and softly guiding it towards success Sorry for my fiery tongue a couple of times Thanks to Bert for taking over the Sanparks side when Dinks was out of town

Thanks to Lion Queen! Without your skill of administration it would never have gotten anywhere further than the exploseives pub

We are first concentrating on the other projects like the The Brownie Project, then we working on getting people Logo bling for their cars Sanparks logo mirror socks and the like
