Man that is cute what joy, what utter, utter bliss.

Punda's waterhole can be a wonderful place to see wildlife from nearby. Many species visit together to make this a good place for animal lovers to see.

Teeming with wild life, what time of year was that Pietert?
We are mostly there in Feb and usually see very little.

Thanks everybody for the encouraging remarks. It was really wonderful to be at Punda while it was the only waterhole in the vicinity with open water. I know it is not like that all the time, but we were lucky to be there early in November to experience all these animals and birds concentrated at one place.
Maybe it will be a good idea for Sanparks to create such a waterhole and hide combination in all the camps? That will bring more people to the camps and also lessen the number of cars on the roads if driving around becomes less important.

Maybe a day or two apart. Cannot remember but that was early November and the temperature was arounf 42C every day with real good sunshine.
