I have just seen on another site that a black leopard was seen in KNP in 2010. Does not say where on the park.

I see that is a 2004 article. And there has been no sightings despite the study which was launched.

If only...

This forum would have been the first to see any pics if I had managed to get any.

The sighting was fleeting, a run across the road, I am glad my mom was in the car
with me otherwise I would have doubted my own eyes  .

Maybe someone will get lucky enough one day

I am tempted to post a black leopard I was privileged to see in action, but it was not a sighting in the wild....thought perhaps share the appreciation of the beauty of this unique animal :hmz: :hmz: :hmz:

I might be naughty by posting this... :naughty: :naughty:
...but to give a bit of 'colour' to this thread, here we go - got these in Mosselbay...I guess I was privileged to be at the right time at the right place... :cam:
Not sure if it is visible to the eye, but they also got the spots as the ones we are used to.
