Hi ras,

Great news about the dogs. Do you think its the same pack seen near Rabelais and Timbavati road or is too far south and maybe the pack from Sweni river area?

Seems like doggies were spotted at lots of places the past month. Heard of sightings near Balule too.

yes there has been a lot. my guess is it is the same pack all over. remember they move about a lot.

not a very beautiful shot but it was a nice sigthing, 3 lionesses with 8 cubs.
later a lioness 600metres from camp then a male lion 30 metres from the camp gate.
not to mention the rest of the sightings

a bonus leopard was in front of camp at 18:30pm before we started with the night drive.

Obviously there is no need to drive whilst staying at Talamati - You only need to wait at the gate or hide

Thanks Ras - More than lovely sightings

It's amazing what you can see from the hide at five o'clock in the morning with a cup of coffee in your hand! Or even with night vision glasses.

Talamati is one of those camps where you don't have to go out - you just let the game come to you.

Its not really a lullaby to lull one to sleep though ... but who wants to sleep when you can listen to that :P
