:D and last night on the drive went around Sable Dam, with only Impalas waiting for us in the hot heat of the afternoon. Seen some Giraffes on the Mopane road, but ran over the road and disappeared between the Red Bushwillow and Silver Cluster Leaf trees. Eventually after viewing the Baboons at the Sycomore Fig Tree at Ngwenyeni waterhole, we found some Zebras close to the Hyeana Den.

After the sundowner stop break we found the Hyeanas in the road, and on our way back, more Zebras and a our only Elephant for the evening at Shikumbu, and some Buffaloes at the Sable dam turn off.

This morning on the Morning Drive we took the S131 gravel road and got a few Giraffes with a Red Crested Korhaan, calling and further up the road a small herd of Elephants, but definitely making their way to somewhere for Christmas breakfast, but luckily got another Elephant Bull in the vicinity, which at least stayed in our camera lens for a bit longer, where after he also walked to the herd of Elephants. Got Impala Rams and Zebras at Ngweyeni waterhole, and 1 Hyeana around the Den area, in a little mud pool. Up the S131 towards Shivhulani to make our way to Masorini on the Shivhulani little road and found more Giraffes and Zebras.

After Masorini got 2 Tawny Eagles and a Monitor Lizzard in dead trees.

Hope you all having a beautiful time for Christmas!!!:D

And so as the Sunset came, the Lion looking deep into the dark night and the water reflection change, so my time came to an end for Phalaborwa Gate Sightings
