Does anyone know if we can purchase an international wild card at Mata Mata gate

I believe you can buy an international wild card at Mata Mata gate. But why not buy it online first and save the hassle at the gate?

Yes we bought our international Wildcard at Mata Mata and paid by credit card (Rand 2190 for couple)- it was no hassle

Thanks for the replies. My sister filled in the form at the gate and has still not received her card but has a receipt no. if she needs it. If you apply on line there is no start date so presumably it will start when your payment is received and we are in the Khalagadi in october then out again next year so we want the max possible use out of it. It makes it easier if we can get it at the gate for our first use.

Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia then the Khalagadi for the last 10 days. Can't be bad eh!
