International wild card

Unread postby charamal » Sat Jun 25, 2011 10:08 am

This may seem like a bizarre question, but here goes!
I contacted SAN parks to ask how long it would take to deliver an
international Wild Card to France and was told it would be much simpler
to buy it at the gate of the first park we visit. Our first park will be Tankwa
and I just wondered if they can rustle up Wild cards there or not....

You can indeed, and it is way less hassle.
Just remember one thing, on the form there is a telephone number request. Fill in a mobile number!
When you get home you'll need to update your details, and you get a verification code via.... SMS!

Dear Charamal,

In both scenarios (buy online before departure or buy at gate upon arrival) you do not receive your Wild Card immediately as it will be sent to your postal address in due course. I therefore suggest that you buy it online just before departure then you have captured all your details in one go. Just make a note of the Wild Card number and use your passports to identify yourselves when entering relevant parks.

Kind regards.

Done! I just have to keep my fingers crossed that it all
works out. Thanks for the advice Joep.
