poe26: Kgalagadi Serene

Can you hear the silence of the distant plain around?
Can you see the tremble of the mid-morning sound?
Can you smell the earth, the fresh dewy ground?
Feel the release - searched for and found?

Some people will never rejoice
In the senses of the Park;
Some will never make the choice
And live a life so stark;
Some wil die and never feel the space
As they tumble along
At a breath-taking
Pace.

But, when the sun sets in the west
Silence prevails
Life is good
And I'll sigh
And add another piece of wood
To the fire.
