poe22:Horns of Plenty

Primeval heads are held erect,
alert to threatened hell-bent death,
with horns thrust rude against the sky,
defiant to their end of days
which soon would come save zealous men
defending life with fearless pride
against the vanity of Levantines’
belief in myths cast by the ages,
and Oriental libertines
deceived by aphrodisiacal shades,
the panacea owned by these hulking hosts
which hold deep cornucopian secrets
of magical daggers held erect
and flaccid members laid to rest.
