Drakensberg Boys Choir to perform at Golden Gate on 10th September

Based on the very successful concept of the annual ‘Sunset Serenade’ in the Kruger National Park (KNP) it was agreed to organise a similar type of fundraising event at the Golden Gate Highlands National Park.
According to Golden Gate Highlands National Park Manager Johan Taljaard and Dr Eugéne Joubert, chairperson of KZN Honorary Rangers, “this event will help enhance South African National Parks' (SANParks) reputation as a leading conservation authority in the country in its fight against rhino anti-poaching. The main objective of this musical festival is to raise funds in helping SANParks to fight rhino poaching in our National Parks”.
The enormous musical festival will be taking place at the recently refurbished Golden Gate Hotel and Chalets.

Drakensberg Boys Choir has toured extensively, establishing an enviable reputation before audiences as far afield as the United States, Europe, Israel, Egypt and the Far East, winning acclaim as the most outstanding group at world choir festivals.
For over 43 years, this Choir has been producing a number of successful musicians. Notable conductors include Johan Tungay and acclaimed artists Deon van der Walt and the Bala brothers to name a few.
