12th West Rand Honorary Rangers Birding Weekend a success

The 12th West Rand Honorary Rangers' Kruger National Park (KNP) Birding Weekend held in January this year was once again a great success.
The West Rand region has experienced a continued growth in attendance with 688 guests in 18 camps.
Birders had a great experience accompanied by bird experts on day and night drives who shared valuable information. The course of the program included sundowners followed by traditional South African cuisine on both evenings.
Guests were also treated to a variety of give-aways where fantastic prizes were donated by our loyal sponsors. The region says that without the support and confidence of sponsors in the event, it could not have been such a success.
