SANParks and Reach for a Dream make dreams come true!

The South African National Parks (SANParks) and Reach for a Dream Foundation have together helped two children suffering from life-threatening illnesses fulfil their dreams!
The Reach for a Dream Foundation, an organisation that has brought hope to many young South Africans, receives a legion of requests and on this occasion reached out to two dreamers, Deon Erasmus and Martin Oosthuizen. Both had a wish to become involved in nature, and these dreams became a reality with the assistance of SANParks by participating in wild catches in the Kruger National Park during March 2009.

Such opportunities would of course not have been possible without the help of countless individuals and institutions. The game capture team of SANParks handled the captures very professionally and Chris Jacobs of the Honorary Rangers (Pretoria Region) successfully orchestrated the logistics of the whole experience.
Both boys were enriched by their experience and read these extracts from their letters of thanks.
