mission accomplished!!!!

Where to start…..at the beginning I suppose lol! We found our Pel’s Fishing-owl, not one, but a breeding pair! After a lovely walk along the river with two awsome guides (that would be Julius and Frank) who were both avid twitchers andhighly  entertaining, we found the beautiful, elusive birds. The sighting was all too brief, but we saw them clearly and even had time to take some photos. The guides did not want us hanging around too long as it disturbs the birds, an soon we were on our way again. The weather played with and we walked under cloudy skies, a fresh wind keeping us extra cool. We spotted, and heard many other birds, the list of which I will post up later….but right now I am going to say “cheers” I am posting from the Skukuza internet cafe, and I want to get back out there! By the way, we spotted our first impala lamb this morning :-)

Jay :-)
