Hi there,
It is Monday morning after the busiest weekend we ever had in KNP. I decided to divide it in 3 blogs in order to make it readable.
I’ve already posted about an easy morning drive on Friday. In the afternoon we both went out. It was a quite drive with a lot of giraffes and kudus around.
On the way back (on S114) we met that famous, huge herd of buffalos. Though they were not far from the road, they’ve been permanently screened with some bush. So, only one picture was worth posting.
We always suspect that the Bergendal pride is following them, but lionesses are very elusive. There are seven lionesses and no big male. One lioness is collared and we hardly ever see them.
But this time there they were! You can see Leopard Creek estate in the background.

Only four of them were visible following the Buffs in a very relaxed manner. So, we suspected that other part of the pride was on the other side and something might happen during the night.
