Morning Lions
Hi there,
As I am writing this mail from a boiling hot KNP the temperature probably approaches 40.
We had an interesting morning drive today. Decided to go to S25, have a breakfast at Crocodile Bridge and return back via highway.
We left camp at 6 and just when we came on S110 (tarred road) there was a flood of lionesses. There were running over the road quite fast. I’ve managed to take some pictures, but they were gone in no time. Just disappeared in the bushes… That was that Bergendal pride which was calling the night before.
As planned, we proceeded to S25 where this Giraffe greeted us.
It was a long drive with lots of elephants and implas around.
But, in one of the openings, this loner was waiting for us…
He allowed us to take some pictures…
Breakfast was nice, thank you.
And coming back to the camp there was another flood. All these buffaloes in the Crocodile River below the camp! Keep fingers crossed for some action.
