All the best for the future, until next time, when you bring them with!!!!
For the rest of us that stays behind, come and follow Phalaborwa Gate Sightings and try to relief the lost we experience…
A highlight of what is in Phalaborwa Gate Sightings, for more come and have a look. Lots more photo’s and stories- page 52.

Thank you Lourens for keeping the blog going,

My opinion, I think Martie’s family were selfish.
Life is what happens, it’s how we choose to handle it!
I am selfish when it comes to things like that, if it was me,
my family would have to fit in. They know me like that and
respect it.
Each to their own. I enjoyed Marie’s blog;-}

Hi Lourens,
Thanks for the great pics and for continuing the blog. As suggested before, is it possible for a few comments on where the animal, bird was seen? It will really be appreciated. Regarding the sleeping elie, I left Letaba as the gate opened one Summer morning and going down the tar road (H1-5) just past where they burn the Letaba camp rubbish, I saw a rock that moved very slightly. I stopped, realising that the rock had not been there the day before. The elie was actually snoring lightly and was there for about 10 minutes before he decided to get up. It was right next to the road and he looked a little startled & embarrassed seeing me there.
Regards
Chip

1 1/2 years ago I made a most interesting walk with you at BnD and you wrote my friend Mary from Switzerland a few words in the blog!
As we have Kruger in our hearts I am glad to just carry on reading your blog and looking at your wonderful pics.

Wonder of daar enige ander raad is.

Hello Lourens,
How are you doing. It is almost 6 months ago when you was our guide. For me it was a nice surprise to see you again, you were also guiding me togehter with Johan Malan during a morning walk (I think on of the first where you were in the lead). I visted Kruger that time with the company a worked for (amgen). After we met you this year we went to MZ for a 3 day walking safari, very nice. I told my colleague about this and now
I would like to ask you for your help.
A colleague of mine is planning to visit Kruger in October (was also in there in summer 2009) he is also planning to do a walking safari for 2 or 3 nights. Do you have some information for me or can you get me into contact with Johan?
Thank you very much,
Kind Regards,
