Welcome to a new blogger YAY! I agree with you Cape Point is really very special especially if you explore the park. My husband and I have spent many wondeful hours in peak tourist season in the park without seeing hardly anybody. There are some amazing rockpools to wallow in while enjoying spectacular beautiful views while listening to birds. Just not quite ready to share all the treasures...

Hi,

Thanks for the great blog and revealing some of the lesser known parks to us<img class="wpml_ico" src="wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif" alt="http://www.sanparks.org/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif" />

One comment on your above post, Marakele and Kruger are not the only two Sanparks with the Big 5. In fact Addo boasts the Big 5 too - actually the Big 7 (the Southern Right Whale and Great White Shark added).

Kind regards,

Pat

I must agree with you about Lataba Camp being special, although my favourite is Satara. We were lucky enough to see Shingwedzi many years ago ( I am 70 and have been going to the park since I was 12) in the river bed a few kilometers from Shinwedzi Camp and regard this as one of our major highlights of our many trips up there. Roll on December 2012 when we wil againg be in Gods Pardise wher a person can claer thre mind ready for the new year.

Thanks and Regards
