Media Release: Free entry to celebrate Table Mountain National Park's 16th birthday
Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) turns 16 on 1 May 2014. As part of the celebrations we’re inviting all South African citizens to make the most of this Worker’s Day at Oudekraal, Perdekloof, Silvermine and Newlands Forest picnic and braai sites with our offer of FREE ENTRY. However, please note that the offer excludes free entry into the Cape of Good Hope (Cape Point), Boulders Penguin Colony and Tokai Forest picnic site.
Grab this amazing birthday opportunity to get out and enjoy the picnic and braai sites while spending time with your family and friends. Please note that entry into each site is limited as there are only so many people the Park can accommodate.
Not able to make it on 1 May? Not to worry. The annual South African National Parks (SANParks) Week which takes places later this year during the month of September offers all South African citizens free entry into almost all 19 South African National Parks.
Remember to bring along your green bar-coded SA ID to gain free entry into the picnic sites and remember that the numbers at the picnic sites are limited. Please also note that commercial operators and their clients are excluded from this offer.
If you’re an avid instagrammer (@san_parks) or tweeter (@TableMountainNP) – remember to tag us in your photos of your free entry day. For more information, please contact Tarcia Hendricks via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
