The latest update on the KNP restaurant refurbishment plan

South African National Parks (SANParks), in an effort to improve customer service in the Kruger National Park, is in the process of setting up new restaurant operations at various camps. Herewith the latest update on the refurbishment plan:

Pretoriuskop Wimpy Already closed 19 May 2014 A Boskombuis is planned to be operational from 18 April 2014 to 19 May 2014 and will provide a unique dining experience with limited menu.
Letaba Mugg and Bean;
Mugg and Bean on the Move
23 April 2014 5 June 2014 A Boskombuis is planned to be operational from 23 April 2014 to 5 June 2014 and will provide a unique dining experience with limited menu.
Olifants Mugg and Bean 7 May 2014 20 June 2014 A Boskombuis is planned to be operational from 20 May 2014 to 21 June 2014 and will provide a unique dining experience with limited menu. At this stage there will be no temporary dining option from 7 - 20 May 2014, in this camp.

Status of the restaurant refurbishments at Satara:

  • Debonaires opened on Tuesday, 15 April 2014.
  • Mugg and Bean on the Move expected to open today, 17 April 2014.
  • Mugg and Bean main restaurant expected to open on Saturday, 19 April 2014.
