Hotel system implementation at Golden Gate Hotel and Chalets

We would hereby like to inform our SANParks Clients and Wild Card Members of a system change for Golden Gate Hotel and Chalets.

SANParks is implementing a hotel management system for the Golden Gate Hotel and Chalets, which is going live on 3 December 2013.

The new system will enable the implementation of functionality specific to the hotel environment and thus aid in enhancing the product and service offering available at the Hotel and Chalets.  

How does this impact on you?

Current reservations will be transferred to the new system and new confirmation documentation will be issued.   

Online reservations for the Golden Gate Hotel and Chalets, through SANParks’ website, will be seamlessly diverted to a partner website however, clients will no longer be able to make reservations for other camps in the Golden Gate National Park i.e. Glenn Reenen, Highlands Mountain Retreat and Basotho Cultural Village on the same reservation.  

Direct reservations through the SANParks Central Reservations and the Golden Gate Hotel and Chalets will still be possible, and clients will be routed to the relevant personnel to assist with hotel specific requests.  Central Reservations at +27 12 428 9111 email reservations@sanparks.org or directly with Golden Gate Hotel and Chalets at +27 58 255 0012, email goldengate@sanparks.org
