KNP's Stevenson-Hamilton Knowledge Resource Centre remains closed

Date: 1st July 2013

The closure of the museum at the Stevenson-Hamilton Knowledge Resource Centre in the Kruger National Park (KNP) at Skukuza Rest Camp, which was scheduled to reopen on 30 June 2013, has been extended to 31 July 2013. The museum has been temporarily closed for renovation since 3 December 2012 to date.

“We apologise in advance to our guests who have planned to visit the centre during this month, for the inconvenience. We have had to extend the renovation work due to the fact that the construction team still has to do the final touches before it reopens”, said KNP’s General Manager, Communications and Marketing, William Mabasa.

The library, which forms part of the centre has been affected and will also temporarily close this month. Situated in Skukuza Rest Camp, the Stevenson-Hamilton Knowledge Resource Centre boasts a vibrant special library and a museum with artifacts from the KNP’s rich history.
