The Southern Cape Old Car Club are the official hosts and organizers of the 2013 National Edwardian and Veteran Car Rally which will be held from the 4th to the 8th of February 2013 in George and the surrounding Garden Route area, as a precursor to the George Old Car Show which is on Saturday and Sunday the 9th and 10th February 2013.

Vehicles eligible to take part in this rally must have been built between January 1905 & 31 December, 1918. This is a hugely popular and successful event that attracts entrants from all over South Africa who will travel down to the Garden Route to take part in this event.  The vehicles participating are real veterans of their eras, restored to their original beauty and specifications so naturally grab the attention of spectators, the media and a whole host of others, locally and nationally, wherever these cars are seen along the route.

The veteran vehicles will stop at Ebb & Flow Rest Camp, in the Wilderness section of the Garden Route National Park,  on 5 February 2013 at 09:45. People will then be able to view and take pictures from 09:45 to 10:00.
