Media Release: Fatal drowning in Kruger National Park

South African National Parks (SANParks) regrets to announce the fatal drowning of a 4 year old girl at the Lower Sabie Camp swimming pool in Kruger National Park this afternoon (17 July 2012). Doctors were called to the scene and tried everything in their power to save her but they were unable to. The South African Police Services are investigating the incident. SANParks would like to send their condolences to the family and wish them strength in their hour of darkness.
