SANParks is " Wild about Soccer"

Last year SANParks in partnership, with Dreamfields and the communities on the border of the Kruger National Park (KNP) launched Wild about Soccer. It is an initiative that aims to get young people in the rural communities feel part of the World Cup Soccer event as well as learn about the environment.

SANParks wants to use the love of the sport to advance environmental education, social inclusiveness and improved community relations. Both SANParks and Dreamfields believe that all these goals can be met – and that valuable resources can be injected into needy communities at the same time.
