West Coast Honorary Rangers
SANParks is proud to be able to recognise the West Coast Honorary Rangers for their contributions to West Coast National Park. Over the last 11 years they have secured two buses for environmental education, orchestrated the reintroduction of Grey Rhebuck into the park, and facilitated a mountain bike trail. Annually they organise a marathon, a cycle tour and birding weekends. The West Coast Honorary Rangers also provide manpower in the flower season, keep the information centre up to date and promote the park by writing articles for the SANParks website and other publications.
