Ranger Support Services
Ranger Support Services is a national Honorary Ranger project team who work tirelessly to support the needs of SANParks by creating awareness, raising funds and contributing millions of rands to important projects. Last year alone they provided equipment like torches, bicycles and expensive cybertracker equipment to 14 different parks. A highlight was the purchase of a bantam spotter plane, which they managed with the help of the West Rand Honorary Rangers. Every year Ranger Support Services host public events like the Letaba Sunset Serenade, Game Capture Camps and Golf Days which attract sponsors like Mazda, Classic FM and Thubelisha Homes, further aiding SANParks conservation efforts.
